Job Title: Sales Director – Telecommunications Industry

As they continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join a team. This is a unique opportunity for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in the telecommunications sector, telecoms service provider and particularly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Position Overview:
The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by leveraging existing relationships within the telecommunications space, particularly with OEMs. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leading high-impact sales initiatives, and making an immediate contribution to the company’s growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the telecoms industry, a strong network within OEMs, and a passion for closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aimed at achieving company sales targets.
  • Leverage existing relationships within the telecommunications and OEM sectors to drive new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new sales prospects, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a Sales Director or in a senior sales role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Extensive network and established relationships within the OEM space.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team.
