Job description

Purchasing Manager for an established wireless communications business.

These advanced tools play a crucial role in facilitating communication for both essential public services and vital private businesses. Their clients span various industries, relying on their solutions to meet their business and communication needs.
 
This role will be covering a broad remit within the purchasing / procurement space. Someone with experience in a similar role will be essential and anyone who is currently a buyer / senior buyer or in a sales position will not be suitable.
 
Any suitable candidate will require the following:
  • Experienced in the engineering / electronics industry
  • Previous management responsibilities of other people
  • Prepared to work onsite and occasionally travel overseas if required to meet suppliers
  • Strategic skills and a proven track record in contract negotiation
