What will I be doing?
You’ll be joining a team of 4 electronics engineers, to accelerate the satellite image technology to launch ready. You’ll be designing, implementing and testing printed circuit boards to support projects. You’ll focus on drive electronics for nano-precision actuators, image capture systems, and miniaturised computers to implement closed=loop control systems. You’ll help create specifications and turn these into actual designs. Ideally, you’ll have a good understand of both analogue and digital electronics. The team here use Altium as their design package, so experience with Altium will help you. There’s plenty of other responsibilities within the role, but too many to name here, we can talk through the rest over the phone, and we can also talk through a more detailed job description.

You’ll be working for a 30-person, maturing start-up in Cambridge, utilizing space imaging technology to tackle issues such as climate change, amongst other applications. You’ll join a team that is ambitious and hardworking, but understands the importance of enjoying your work, and finding purpose in what you do. The management team place a lot of focus on ensuring well-being in the workplace. On top of flexibility, homeworking, and placing trust in the individuals, they like to keep things fun. You’ll have regular socials, team visits to customer site, regularly getting involved with the customer to understand the importance of the products you’re building, as well as regular communication and updates from management.
