Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and technically adept individual with a passion for IT and a keen interest in IT. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a solid foundation in IT support while gaining exposure to and training in the field of Information Security, IT Support & Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical queries in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  • Assist in the maintenance of IT documentation, asset management, and inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
  • Gain exposure to Information Security practices, assisting with basic security tasks and initiatives under the guidance of the Information Security team.
Qualifications:
  • IT Qualifications, apprenticeship, internship experience  
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a understanding of IT fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Demonstrated interest in IT, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Location: Cambridge, UK (must be commutable distance)
