Socode are proud to represent a long-standing client, a global automotive company providing hardware and engineering services. We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

- Extensive experience in electronic hardware design, particularly in embedded systems.
- Strong background in automotive-grade circuit design, including one or more of the following:
- H-bridges, solenoid, motor, and inductive load interfaces.
- High and low-side MOSFET switches, current sensing, and measurement.
- Communications interfaces such as SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Altium for schematic capture, SPICE for circuit simulation, and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
- Demonstrated ability to design for manufacture, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards, including EMC and environmental testing.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Lead the architectural development of electronic systems to meet industry standards.
- Design, analyse, and document circuits, including power supplies, analog/digital interfaces, and microcontrollers.
- Debug, verify, and validate designs through rigorous testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both nationally and internationally.
- Create comprehensive documentation to support the long-term maintenance of designs.
- Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
