Senior Electrical Engineer – Water Services
 
SoCode Engineer have partnered with the largest water company in England who supply water and water recycling to seven million people in the East of England. They are gearing up for their most exciting and challenging period yet, known as AMP 8, which will see them deliver a programme of work larger than they’ve ever delivered before.
As they move into this exciting and challenging period for the Water industry, they will implement the highest standards of safe solutions across all disciplines. To enhance the team, they are looking for several Senior Electrical Engineers to join us to support our increase in work!
 
What will you be doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer?
As an Electrical Engineer within a diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you’ll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.
Key responsibilities:
  • Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems particular specifications schedules, data sheets and drawings.
  • Design and specify LV Assemblies particular specifications schedules, data sheets and drawings (i.e. MCC, LV Switchboards and Control Panels)
  • Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams)
  • Liaise with others on technical issues, the construction team, operations, suppliers, and utility companies.
  • Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design.
A Little Bit About Your Skills, Experience, And Behaviours…
Have demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer. With a strong Electrical Engineering background and a keenness to work in a multi disciplined team, working together to solve complex problems.  
 
This opportunity is looking for Engineers with ideally 8+ years experience but will be offering a broad range of salary, from £40,000 - £75,000 DOE; plus benefits.
