Role: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Luton (4 days on site, non negotiable)
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 DOE
Clearance: British Citizens Only - eligibility for full security clearance required

Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software with RTOS (VxWorks, embedded Linux)
- Deploy software on multi-core/distributed platforms
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams
- Use C++ and scripting languages
- Follow RTCA 178C and MISRA C/C++ standards
- Full software lifecycle experience (Requirements, Design, Test)
- Proficiency in C++, UML, and OOD
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Jira, Gitlab)
- Experience with RTCA 178C or similar
- Leadership and mentoring experience and capabilities
