Key Responsibilities
- Capture and analyse customer requirements and contribute to system designs.
- Develop signal processing algorithms in Verilog for FPGAs.
- Create embedded software in C/C++ for proprietary hardware.
- Design and develop tools for internal and customer use.
- Test and debug systems to resolve issues and ensure quality.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
- At least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Engineering discipline
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, ideally C.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and communication systems.
- Experience with digital design using Verilog or VHDL.
- Familiarity with mobile telephony systems such as 5GNR, LTE, UMTS, and GSM.
- Experience with Matlab.
