- £50,000 - £55,000

- On-site – 5 days a week

Modern gas sensors can detect gases at levels as low as parts per billion! This level of sensitivity allows them to pick up tiny traces of harmful gases, making them incredibly useful for early detection and helping save lives!

Collaborate with innovative R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams to develop and launch cutting-edge products. You’ll lead impactful NPI projects and as a driving force for positive change, you’ll identify and implement process improvements. You'll also have the opportunity to empower your colleagues by providing training and support to production teams during the smooth transition of new products.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development: Collaborate with innovative R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams to launch cutting-edge gas sensors and safety instruments that make a difference in safety and technology.
  • Project Management: Take the lead on exciting NPI projects, ensuring we meet our goals for timelines, budgets, and quality standards while celebrating your contributions to our success.
  • Process Improvement: Be a driving force for positive change by identifying and implementing enhancements, including PFMEA, that elevate product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Testing and Validation: Oversee critical testing and validation processes, ensuring our new products meet all regulatory and performance standards, and take pride in delivering reliable solutions to the market.
We’re looking for dynamic individuals with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably specializing in Electronics, Mechanical, or related fields. With 3-5 years of experience in NPI in related instrument industry, proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools, will empower you to bring your innovative ideas to life!
 
You’ll play a crucial role in driving innovative projects forward. If you have experience in hazardous location ATEX design and certification (EN 60079-11) or SIL2 functional safety design (EN 61508) that would be fantastic!
