Position: IT Technician (Short-Term Contract)
Location: Ipswich (Must be in the local area)
ONSITE
Contract Length: 3 Months – Potential of Perm
Rate: 150-180 – ASAP Start

Are you an experienced IT Technician with a passion for supporting educational environments? Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive IT professional to provide short-term IT support across a network of schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and make a real difference in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in multiple school locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems for staff and students.
  • Maintain and update IT systems, including servers, Wi-Fi networks, and user devices.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with school policies and security standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with non-technical users.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as network systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and school-specific IT systems is a bonus.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle (essential, as travel between schools may be required).
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
