Job description
Having placed the test engineering team at this Cambridge optics business, the team are now looking for an electronics technician to compliment the electronics team on a fixed term contract basis.
The business focus on optical systems and have an exceptional team of electronics engineers, working on global based projects from their Cambridge HQ.
The right person will need to have worked on electronics in a dynamic, start-up environment (lots of this work will have to be reactive as the team are working on a very fresh project) and helping the test engineers to fault find to component level will also be a daily task for this contract. This is urgent so you'd also need to be able to start in the coming month and be local enough to Cambridge to get into the office each day - they have plenty of parking on-site and are within walking distance of the local train station and shops.
