Responsibilities:
- Maintain, support, and enhance firmware for computing infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with a distributed firmware development team to contribute to deploying CPU and System IP-based platforms.
- Handle defect management, feature back-porting, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with release teams to manage downstream updates for post-launch customer releases.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in C programming for embedded systems with proven debugging skills.
- Experience in firmware development and maintenance for high-quality production, including bootloaders and device drivers.
- Background in server firmware development.
- Experience with production-quality firmware maintenance and customer support for server environments.
- Familiarity with open-source projects such as Linux Kernel, TF-A, UEFI EDK II, and OpenBMC.
- Knowledge of technologies like RAS, hypervisors, CXL, power management, and security.
