Hardware Engineer

Job description

What’s in it for me?
This is an opportunity to join a growing Cambridge Tech Start-up, establishing their hardware team. You’ll come to grow with the business, working on tech from the ground up. It’s sometimes challenging as a hardware engineer to find that flexibility you might need for personal commitments, however the team here want you to be able to focus on deep work, so if you’d like to start later, or finish earlier, your hours are largely yours to manage. They also operate a hybrid working policy to give you days working from home.

What will I be doing?
You’ll be driving hardware projects, developing RF and cellular products, designing power supplies, and 32-bit MCU products. Perform compliance testing, debugging. Ensure DFM and DFT for high-volume manufacturing. It’s a broad role, as they’re a smaller business, which means you won’t be pigeonholed into one area of technology. You’ll be familiar with using Altium for schematics capture and PCB Design.

Where will I be doing it?
You’ll be joining a business that looks to establish itself as one of the global leaders in RF Mesh networks for IOT communications. They’re based in Cambridge, with parking onsite and modern offices.
