Job description
Are you a skilled Cryo-EM Computational Scientist looking for an opportunity to work at the forefront of drug discovery and structural biology? I am working with a pioneering biotech company that is driving innovation in fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) and structure-based drug design (SBDD).
This is an exciting chance to join a leading Molecular Sciences team that is investing heavily in cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) technologies to accelerate drug discovery. With access to state-of-the-art cryo-EM facilities, including high-end electron microscopes and an advanced data processing platform, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing computational workflows for single-particle analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Enhance and optimize cryo-EM data processing pipelines, integrating new and existing software
🔹 Monitor and evaluate image processing technologies to improve automation and accuracy
🔹 Develop front-end user interfaces and database back-end systems for data analysis
🔹 Support scientists in data processing, sample preparation, and data acquisition
🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of structural biology
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Extensive experience in single-particle analysis processing, including postdoctoral research
✔ Strong ability to assess processing quality and optimize 2D/3D classification methods
✔ Proven expertise in Python (HTML, JavaScript, CSS knowledge is a plus)
✔ Experience in cryo-EM sample preparation and automated data acquisition
✔ Ability to work independently in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary environment
Why Join?💡 Work with leading experts in computational structural biology.
🖥️ Access to state-of-the-art cryo-EM facilities and high-performance computing infrastructure.
🚀 Competitive salary, excellent training and career development opportunities.
If you’re passionate about driving scientific breakthroughs in drug discovery, this role is for you.
