Sabrina started her journey at SoCode covering the C#/.Net market, she has since transitioned and has taken the role of Embedded recruitment specialist, working closely with some of our biggest clients to grow out their teams internally.

"Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa by Portuguese parents, where Braai's (Barbecues) were regular as per South African custom. She decided to make the move to the UK in 2019 and arrived October 2020. Despite the UK's weather, she still enjoys the occasional Braai."

What inspires you?

"My mom has always been a big inspiration - to see her grow and progress within her career was something I always strived for. I would say this pulled me towards recruitment: seeing and understanding that people could progress and make a career in recruitment."

Where would we find you outside of work?

"I'm a big book worm, but enjoys movies and series too - especially fantasy and fiction. I enjoy keeping fit and going to the gym, I often do yoga and Pilates too. Of course, not to mention anything to do with eating! I love trying new restaurants, cuisines and foods."
