Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Chemistry)
Location: South Cambridge
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

What will I be doing?
You’ll be responsible for carrying out routine practices, as well as defining standards and operating procedures in mechanical and wet labs. Additionally, you will work closely with the Lab Manager in order to maintain these defined standards.
Due to the nature of the work, no week looks the same. You’ll be working closely with Scientists and Engineers, assisting them in their experiments through stock management, general maintenance and adhering to health and safety standards.

What do I need to be successful?
- A-level/NVQ in a Science or Engineering discipline OR Extensive lab experience
- Experience in preparing/curing polymer membrane materials
- Assembly Experience (mechanical or electronic)
- Record keeping and stock management exposure
- A great attitude for learning and development
