Job Title: FinOps Specialist Consultant – Subject Matter Expert (Cloud)
Rate: 700 to 800 Inside 
Locataion - 2 to 3 days onsite in London
Duration - 6 to 8 weeks

Position Overview:
My client is looking is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented FinOps consultant to develop Target Operating Models, governance frameworks, and processes for managing and monitoring cloud costs within financial services organisations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services sector, hands-on experience with multi-cloud and poly-cloud environments, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to align on optimal FinOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Target Operating Models to streamline financial operations and ensure efficient cost management across multi-cloud environments.
• Worked extensively within Multi Cloud enviroments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Lead the evaluation and selection of FinOps platforms to meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with technology and finance teams to define and implement FinOps requirements within complex financial services organizations.
• Analyse cloud usage patterns and recommend cost optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance of FinOps solutions with financial regulations and legal standards.
• Facilitate organizational change by training staff and promoting successful adoption of FinOps practices.
• Demonstrated experience with third-party cloud FinOps platforms.

Qualifications:

• Experience working within the financial sector with a focus on cloud cost management.
• Proficient in configuring and using third-party cloud FinOps and financial management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
