Agriculture Technician

Job description

If you’re passionate about plant health and love the idea of working with local crops, I’ve got an exciting opportunity for you. We’re looking for an agricultural technician to join our client’s team.

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of their mission to protect crops from diseases and help them thrive. You’ll lead lab and field experiments to identify and manage plant pathogens, and your expertise will make a real difference. Plus, you’ll get to mentor junior staff and share your knowledge—something that’s highly valued here.

They’re big on collaboration and innovation, so your ideas will be heard and appreciated. They want someone with about 5 years of experience in plant pathology who’s comfortable with molecular diagnostics, microscopy, and data analysis. A degree in Plant Sciences or a related field is ideal, and if you’ve got a Master’s or PhD, even better!

The team? They’re a close-knit, supportive group that believes in open communication and working together. They’re serious about maintaining a good work-life balance, and they know diversity makes them stronger. It’s a place where everyone’s voice counts.
If this sounds like the right fit for you, I’d love to hear from you. Join our client’s team, and let’s work together to keep crops healthy and agriculture sustainable. Reach out to Dominic Fung at SoCode on LinkedIn to find out how to get started!
